Hey, M2 - thanks for putting that together. Good to put some faces to the handles.

But I think that event cost me money, cause now I want the matte black grilles. I really want the BMW Performance rear deck spoiler, too, but can't bring myself to spend what that costs. I'm sure I'll talk myself into it soon enough, tho.

See ya.

Neil

Hey Neil, thanks for coming. Enjoyed the car talk. Beautiful car by the way, great color combo. I'll let you and the other guys know when we are doing a skyline drive run. Should be within the next few weeks. I'll keep everyone posted.

Sorry I didn't make it out yesterday. Woke up with a nearly flat tire, got an appointment to get it fixed/replaced this morning.

Any pics of the turnout?

Sounds like it was a blast. With the crazy traffic, road closings and parties on Saturday night, I got to sleep around 6am. So slept right through till 1pm. And then treked 6 miles around Alexandria.

I am going to try and get to Katies on November 13th to see folks doing the coding on cars and of course check out the exotics. By then, I might have the Performance Exhaust installed on my car.

Sorry for missing the event. Had Rocky Horror tickets Saturday night and didn't get home until 3am.

Looking forward to the next one.

BTW, anyone here have trouble getting the Wheel and Tire Damage Insurance to pay out for a nail in the tire? Does BMW do all the paperwork directly? Frickin Home Depot parknig lot got a nail stuck right in the rear driver's tire. Unbelievable. Just hope the extra money I shelled out for the insurance works out.

Don't know for sure how the insurance works, but you shouldn't have any issues getting BMW to replace the tire. I think it says you have to report it immediately, but I don't think they'd deny coverage if you took it to them

There's nail and tire damage coverage? I just paid $90 to get a nail plugged in my tire about an hour ago... FML

It's an option - typically sold by the finance guy as he does the paperwork.

I missed it too Partied a little late Saturday night. I will definitely try to make it to the next event though. Skyline Drive sounds great, I was there Saturday during the day actually. Hopefully my car will arrive by then as well. It's in transit now! woo!! Enigma, we wouldn't have been able to install my cf seatbacks on your vehicle to see how they would look anyways, because I forgot they have a strip of adhesive tape around it to make sure it holds on the seat. I wouldn't want to lose the effectiveness of it installing it on another vehicle first. I will bring them next meet thought just so people can take a look at them (hopefully on my car if it gets in by then!). Hope everyone had a great time!

Thanks man! It would be cool to do a review on your car too, especially while you're driving it. We could do something Top Gear style. I have a camera mount

That'd be cool, but I'm probably not the best to review it...I don't think I could describe things as well as Mark, or probably you....might have to have you do the review.....But now I have to get my Dinan reflashed again! and possibly a second HPFP replacement on the way.

Oh man, another HPFP? WTF? Sorry to hear than man.

Hope you get your tune and HFPF worked out before we hit up Skyline Drive. You don't want to go into limp mode on that road...

If that was to happen when we do the Skyline run we would make sure you and your car got back safely.
