I spoke to my SA and he says my car should be arriving very shortly. He said this Friday but I'm telling myself it's going to be sometime next week (lowered expectations). I've been driving a 96 Toyota Camry since I sold my Lexus IS350 a year ago. For the longest time, I didn't know what to get. I decided to get an S5 last November, put in an order but has since cancelled the order in favor of the 135.

Aaaarggghhhh! The last few days before it actually arrives are just the most difficult. My ride's going to be in Alpine white with Coral red, sport package, premium package and 6-speed. I've already ordered the shadowline grills from Dan, can't wait to install them when the car arrives.

Was hoping to be the first guy at work to have the car but another guy beat me to it already. His is a black 128i, stick with premium and sport as well. We'll be parking side by side as often as possible.

Who else here is expecting delivery soon???? Let's form a support group...

Mine appears to been at Port Hueneme for about a week.. kindof upset it hasn't gone to the VPC and not at my dealership yet

The status may just be wrong. There was a guy who said that the OC site still said his car was at port in Germany when his dealer called and told him it was ready to be picked up. Obviously their tracking system is not 100%

I've been tracking the boat by GPS, in any case, if the tracking is wrong when it states my car is at Port Hueneme, that means it should already have been at the dealer.

My SA thinks I will have mine by Friday as well--might have been able to get it Thursday, but I am having a light tint added to the windows, so that will take an extra day.

The last few days are by far the hardest--I am trying to stay really busy at work so I don't think about my E82 as much.....:biggrin:

Mine is @ the VPC in NJ. Just e-mailed my SA to see if he had a date for me. Im guessing next week sometime, which is OK since Im not done framing the garage that will be the little road burners new Home.
(Yes,..you read it right,..im actually building a 16'X22' garage just to put the new car in....Im sick, and need help!):biggrin:

Just got a call from my SA....my car is at the dealership!!!! It just got unloaded off the truck--my dad, who works close by, is going over to take some pictures of it.

I am traveling (shit!) so won't be able to pick it up until Friday. No biggie--I am getting tint added, so I couldn't have picked it up until Thursday at the earliest anyway.....

But, man, am I PUMPED!

I think so--I was kind of in-between weeks, and I got to the port on the 15th IIRC. Didn't you make it around the 20th?

A lot depends on the VPC--since our cars are sold, they are supposed to be shuffled through first and set out on the first available truck to get to your dealership. I had guessed that mine (based on the two E92s I had ordered before) would get to Indy around the 6th-8th of May if all went well. And it showed up today, so the typical wait has worked out for me three times now.

You got any updates from your SA? You at port yet (or soon)?

i got to the port on the 17th.
its going to be in cali on 5/17-5/18.
so hopfully soon after that.

My SA called me today and said "its getting close, are you excited"? of coarse im excited!
