Your MHD flash setup
Which phone or tablet are you all using for your MHD flash setup?
I'm an iphone user so i'll be getting something specific for this. Am wondering what you all use and if you are running 100% e85 and have some setup that you bring along just to switch maps? |

i have it on my galaxy s6 edge and also my dash mounted nexus 7.
I have my e85 map and a pump fuel map stored on the phone at all times. I just fill up the car and click flash. When i' m done paying for the fuel, the flash is done and off i go |

Yes keys in and reds on and make sure your battery is up to the task. Lights off and stereo off, you don't want the system to shut down during a flash, also the phone has to be in flight mode because if you get a phone call during a flash, a possible nasty outcome might occur (car dead). |

Also why do you not recommend flashing at the pump? |

Walking away from your car with keys in the ignition
while you pay, first some one could try and steal your car If a cop catches you leaving your car with keys in it at the bowser you will get fined Not saying you can't flash at the servo just do it away from the pump and keep an eye on everything Also make sure you don't do anything in the car while flashing like opening and closing doors, make sure your phone is not connected to Bluetooth and doesn't try to connect while flashing It is a very sensitive procedure to do a flash and could have a disastrous outcome if something interrupts it. |
