I like both hah... But like manual slightly more. BUT, if one is easier to sell or more demand than the other, I'd rather get that. In other words, I dont want to buy an auto if everyone wants manual

Go to any BMW dealer and 98% of the cars on the lot are automatics. Shifting (real shifting, not paddles) is a dying art in the US. My 128 has a stick and I wouldn't have it any other way. Get what you will enjoy driving. You're buying the car for yourself not the next guy.

Definitely the auto if resale is your concern. It's a darn good auto at that.
I went with the stick, and still prefer it overall. I just seems more engaging, even if the auto is actually faster under most circumstances. |
