Wink Catuned coilover review

Made the switch in the beginning of summer to Catuned's new coilover setup that's been around for about a year. Spring rates are 7k/392lbs and 12k/672lbs after two months of adjustments I found my "sweet" spot I'm 10 off from full hard front and back. These are 36-way adjustable(dampening)coilovers. The ride is so much smoother then the koni yellows/ swift spring setup I and so many others have run in the past. These are by no means track oriented coilovers, but they are great for street use very quiet. These pups can go LOW and come with camber plates. They are very similar to BCs but I'm told they are made better with Swiss seals thicker piston rods (4mm) different fluids. The spring rates are much better suited for my car and it's suspension mods see SIG. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a firmer ride but also not sacrificing comfort. They can be ordered with custom spring rates but I saw no reason as the stock rates are what I would call aggressive for the 1-series suspension I think I benefit from having M3 rear subframe bushings. If anyone has questions LMK.

For me yes but I'm a dick and running 18x9et38 upfront I'm running 10mm spacer upfront to stay off the perch if they were 18x8.5 I'd be golden.

looks like it still has a beehive style spring. Are the rears linear? Is the damper assembly designed in house, or which company makes it? Who makes the camber plates?

Yes they are linear springs in the rear. They told me they were designed in house/assembled. I believe the camber plates are GC just relabeled, but if they aren't they are very similar.

I couldn't give a direct comparison as I've never used either in the past. A guy is running these on his e90 who came from kW v2. From his review he stated the car rides better with the Catuned coilovers. For the money they are great.

Thanks

Whats the range of height adjustability? You said they can go low, but can you adjust them to near stock height as well? Didn't see any mention of max or min ride height on their site.

They can be set for stock height, mine are just about where my swift springs had me at. I have at least another inch left of thread left to go lower.
