BMW Style 5's (BBS RC) on 2010 128i
Hey All,
Hopefully you can help shed some light on this. I have a 2010 BMW 128i with stock suspension setup. I have a set of BBS Style 5 wheels that are 17x8 with a 20mm offset. I'll be using 205/45ZR-17 tires. Do you know if I will have problems with running this setup? I'm also using hub centric centering rings, since the hub size on the Style 5's is slightly larger. P.S. Here's a couple pictures of the wheels and my car. Thanks! Drew |

Thanks for the response! I'll definitely let you know if it works. Since you have some of these from your e36 have you ever tried mounting them on your 1?

Those are definitely not RC's. I believe they are RS's. Sorry it's the MKIV forum side of me popping out, RC's on the 337 GTI's are the best wheels I have seen. Bar none.

Doubt it, these cars like high 40 to mid 50 offset. You'll most likely rub even with 205's else it'll be super close.

It will be really close. I'm running style 68's with 10mm spacers in the rear.
tires- 225-45-17 rims- front: 17x7.5 et 41 rear: 17x8.5 et 50 The fronts are pretty close but i have pulled and rolled fenders so i have more space. et20 Is going to bring it really close and you'll most likely need fender work as well. The rear's will probably be okay, might need a roll.

I forgot to also ask, are you still able to use your plastic fender lining if you do this? If not, do you find a lot of dirt accumulation under there? I'm just not 100% familiar with fender rolling so pardon my ignorance haha

I guess another thing to take into consideration is that I haven't lowered my car at all. It looks like you used some Eibach's to lower yours a little bit? How hard is it to roll my fenders if I buy a fender roller? I'd test fit the wheels but they aren't supposed to be here until next week... I can't wait to be honest, they look pretty darn amazing.

I've got the same wheels for my winter setup but without spacers. The rear wheels fill the arches perfect!
