I sold my last car privately rather than trade in. It was (nobody laugh...) a '94 Chevy Cavalier Sedan (2.2l) with 185,000 kms. I bought it new for under $13000 (canadian) back in '94 and it served me well for over 11 years, never had any major problems. Of course, it may have been reliable but it doesn't even begin to compare to my nice new 325i~!

No trades here.... Just had a 2001 Opel Omega Kombi(Cadilac Caterra) company car for a few years. It handled surprisingly well for a GM, but it had zero power.
