Jb3 just installed, bought used
I just installed my jb3 that I bought used a while back and I was wondering if it starts on map one. It feels much faster and I don't want to be on a 100 oct. Map.

I may need correcting, but I think it starts on Map 0.
However, if you are not sure, just start it on Map 0, drive it for a bit and then put it on whatever Map you want to run.

So, turn the ignition fully on(gas gauge active) but with engine off, press gas pedal all the way to floor and hold it for 5 seconds and then release. You'll be in map 0. Then, to get to map 1,2,3 and so on, simply press gas to floor completely and release to increment map up. Also, you may want to consider the jb4 upgrade. Much smarter and easier to check/switch maps and so much more |

^^^^agree with scott135i for procedure. You may want to consider getting a CAN or BT tool to check for codes (and add gauge hyjacking wit CAN).
I still have a CAN from my old JB3, that I would let go for cheap. PM me if you're interested |

I know you just installed it and the thought of going back under the hood may not seem too appealing, but do yourself a favor and get the JB4. There is no comparison.
