Tire pressure for hard canyon driving

What tire pressure should I run for doing some hard canyon driving? I have Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

Garage List
2013 BMW M3  [10.00]
2015 BMW M4  [0.00]
2013 BMW F30  [0.00]
2014 BMW F22  [0.00]

I always recommend what the manual says. 36psi front and 36psi rear should be more than adequate for those Michelin PSS.

The manual says 36/36 unless you will have 3 passengers +luggage and will be exceeding 100 mph.

What I would do is buy some chalk, mark the outer edges of the tire and record what pressure you run (better if it's while hot but harder to do and more inconvenient). When I say mark the outer edge, draw a couple lines from the tread itself and out onto the side of the tire....doesn't have to be a whole lot.

After the run, see how much you are or not "rolling over" onto the edge of the tire and from there you can add or reduce air pressure. Suspension adjustments, driving style, teperatures, too many variables play into what exactly to do. Just some basic things to help you get started.

Just what I used to do to get started when I used to autocross and also while doing track days at the road course.
