e90 in Winter @ TO

Today is officially the first winter storm of Toronto, and I figured it is a good time to practise my shooting skills again, so here they are... my e90 ... with ice/snow

Hope you all like em

Very good! I like the second too, but am partial to the third - I like the snowflakes.

I agree, the second one is awesome. You can really see the color of the xenons. You should post the third one in the cribs thread with some indoor shots, looks like a very cool house.

... and of course I have to compliment your car color choice, which looks even better against the white snow.

First snow storm means my E90 is going into winter storage....
So my E90 is going into winter hibernation as of today until March or April....

I'm in Thornhill by the way....

Nice pics! I am in Scarborough.

Did you change to snow tires? I would imagine those tires that come with the SP wouldn't do too well in the snow!?!

Do not even think about going anywhere with them.
I scheduled to change tomorrow but..... I end up stuck at the end of my drive way (the 3rd pic) for 30 minutse trying to back in tonight.

I am waiting for next monday when the snow melts at the "burning" 13 degrees..

Thanks for the compliment guys.

I love the second one as well.

After I got my winter tires, I"m going to try this again somewhere else. .... because this is as far as my summer performance tires allows me to go in snow , hehhehhe

The second pic looks amazing with the xenon light reflecting onto the snow.

I think my aunt lives in that condo!
Anyway, hibernation? Why don't u get some winter tires so u can safely drive in the winter too? I mean 4 months of no E90? Not to mention 4 months of depreciation?

ice dragon:

I got my company demo to use as a daily driver and I also have a ML430 which is way better in the snow than my E90..

Yes I will miss driving my E90 for a few months but I rather not get salt damage from winter driving....
Plus It is still very slippery even with snow tires on any rwd vehicle...

Really slick looking car. Can't wait until it's my turn to get one. Next summer we have to have a Toronto Meet. How many E90 owners are on this board from Toronto anyways?

wow, the light those headlights casts looks so blue...

your neighborhood looks so suburbs and residential... i've only been to downtown Toronto... looks nothing like where you are.

it is actually only 20 minutes from downtown on a cop-less sunny day
