Wheel bearing going bad?

So, we took the 1er on a 100 mile trip, mostly highway. As we got to our destination a noticeable rhythmic scraping sound tied to wheel speed was emanating from the right rear wheel, only noticeable below 30 MPH really. When we stopped, the right rear rotor center was noticeably hotter than the left one. Interestingly, the sound did not return during the short drives we made from the hotel for dinner, etc, but when we came back today, after the long drive, it was again exhibiting the same scraping sound. After cooling down, it again stopped. Wish I had recorded a video. Anyone with experience have any advice here? To me, the temperature dependence points to the bearing (I recently had issues with the parking brake adjustment done by a dealer on this wheel so I am familiar with what that sounds like. I think this is "fruit of the poison tree" damage but will have to debate with the dealership on that.)

Check the parking brake first.

Thx. Pretty sure it's not the parking brake again...sound is temp dependent and different than when the parking brake was an issue.

Check your heat shields to make sure one hasn't bent/displaced and making contact. That happened to me once after a bad pothole in a turn. I thought I had a serious problem but was able to push it back out of contact quite easily.

Iminhell1 is the winner! Shop forman said it was the e-brake. They are pulling both rotors and checking it all out. Hopefully 3rd time is a charm. Thx to all for the replies.
