Hello All,

I'm new to the board and even though I don't have "The Ultimate Driving Machine" yet, I plan on purchasing a 330XI 5-spd within a year.

My 1st question is will BMW discount the sticker price? 2nd, will I degrade the performance by going to type 162 18" wheels? The 330 XI sport package comes with 17's.

Discount depends on your dealer

xi come with 17" because their primary design is for driving in snow, 18" should be fine out of snow

And, you're in for a surprise buying a 5 speed :-)
All the cars are std with 6 speed gearbox's

The 17" 158 style wheels on the 330Xi are B E A U T I F U L! Okay? hehe I have them...I like them, I really do....

You can definitely haggle down the price with a dealer, it just depends on the dealer as to how low he would go. Just do your research and ask around at other dealers. If there are more than one dealer in your area, you should be ok.
