Hi everyone,

New to the site and I need to make a few posts before I can PM / contact a few of the sellers on this site.

The 1 series caught my attention when it first hit the US dealers long ago. Reminded me of the 2002tii from the 70's (yup, I'm an old fart.) After rebounding from getting the kids through collage/grad school and retirement funding I'm finally looking for a toy to drive/clean/and polish.

A 2011 1M was my first choice until I gagged at the recent selling prices ($90K!) They are nice.

A MT M-Sport 135i or 135is (preferable) is my second choice but I know a super clean one is going to be a bit pricy.

A MT M-Sport 128i is likely the best option. They are less pricy (less desirable?) and realistically the NA engine HP will still be a fun car to drive around in the summer.

Coupe only. Stock or minor tasteful mods. No winters (I hate rust.)

Don't really want to sell, but wife indicates that I have too many toys
This was one of the last cars built in 2013 (August)

A MT 128i are becoming very desirable, very fast. If you find a good example jump on it fast. There are people searching around the country for them.

And it's a BMW 1M, not M1. An M1 is BMWs supercar from the late 70's.

49k miles, I'm the 3rd owner, slick top, manual, based seats
No winters, currently in storage

Recent maintenance: all parts from FCP
43k miles - OFHG, valve cover, oil pan gasket
45k miles - transmission/diff fluid, 6 new plugs/coils
46k miles - all 4 brakes/rotors and new 2 DISA valves

Mods:
Depo HID headlights
Blackline tail lights
ZHP shift knob
Apple car play + reverse camera
Active autowerk headers
3 stage intake manifold
Stage FP tune
BBS CK 18x8 +34
