Do any of you guys know which direction firms up the dampening on the JIC's? Is it clockwise? I went all the way counter clockwise and then up 9 clicks. Rides pretty good, but not sure which way to go for a track day.

Any recommended settings?

Full soft is counter-clockwise (facing the knob).

I've been running full soft front and rear so I can sleep better on the drive to and from work. The only time I've put it on the track I was running about the same settings you are. I just set them at 8F and 12R to experiment a little.

For the track, you will definitely need more camber than shows in your pictures. I'm running 2 degreesF&R.

Wow, that's so weird. They came set at about 4 and felt pretty rough on the gaps on the highway pavement and now at 9 feel smoother. I wonder if a firmer dampening actually rides better? I'll have to try full soft though, as I too like sleeping on the way to work! hahaha.

Was missing a part on the rear shocks so currently I'm running the JIC springs and stock shocks in rear. It amazing how much better a coilover works than the stock shock when lowered.....I had no idea!

At full soft they are pretty under-damped for the spring rate they come with, which can make for a pretty bouncy ride. With the stock shocks, I would expect it to be even worse.

I drive a section of road which is badly rippled. The soft setting helped a little, but not much. On larger bumps, the higher damping settings do keep the body motion much better controlled.

They actually re opened it for NASA AZ members for a 1 day track event last month! I really wanted to go but it was about $240 and I had just done another event with ProAutoSports on Firebird Main Road Course.

Have you tried Inde Motorsports Ranch in Wilcox, AZ? Pretty nice setup!

AZMP is the only track I've driven outside of the Southeast. I was visiting in SCW, and a friend loaned me his 911 RSA to drive for the weekend event. I think it was a ASRA event.

Nice! I think ASRA is no longer now though.

Anyone else have issues with the rear coilovers making clunking sounds over light imperfections in the road? If I shorten the rear shock length the clunking goes away mostly, but then the car rubs and also sways a lot when I corner or accelerate hard.

I can't find the proper procedure to adjust the rear coilovers, shock length, etc anywhere. PLEASE HELP! Thinking of removing the rears and putting the lowering springs back in, leaving the front coilovers in..........thoughts?

Sounds like something may be loose, or incorrectly installed like the upper shock mount. No noises from mine. I seem to remember having to call JIC to figure out how they intended the top bushings to be installed. It wasn't obvious.

I got some measurements for setting up the rear shock length from JIC, but it didn't work. The shock has to be adjusted to match the ride height you set the springs at. I don't remember how I wound up setting them, but I can get some measurements for you later. Got to work on the M3 tonight.

I would love some measurements m3bs! Thank you!

I had the shop check everything twice and I have had a second opinion too. The other shop couldn't find anything either.

Did you work on the car the other night? Get any measurements? Feel like just getting rid of the coilovers........rides like Sh*t.......

When I installed mine , it was OEM dust boot with bump stop first , then 1 of the 2 washers came on, then OEM bushing and the rubber seal. Then strut came thru hole and JIC bushing and JIC metal sleeve came on and all in the end washer 2 of 2 and the JIC nut. Tighten with impact gun.
