What's the easiest way to see if the dealer flashed over my Dinan software?

What's the easiest way to see if the dealer flashed over my Dinan software?

I recall there's a way to see which bmw software version you have but I'm not sure what I had before. My car feels slow after scheduled maintenance. It could be in my mind but I know it would break the tires loose before. Thanks!

step on the gas pedal. If you have a boost gauge you could just look at that other than that not sure how to check unless you have a bav scan tool.

I'm running Dinan Stage 2 software. I had the bank 2 turbo charger replaced due to a wastegate actuation issue. When I picked up the car it felt slower. Like it was revving hard but didn't have that hard push into the seat I fell in love with. I asked my service advisor if they wiped out the software and they hadn't. It hasn't felt the same since but what can I do, they say it's still loaded. Something is wrong.

What the first poster said, you really need a boost gauge if you are running a tune that does not have data logging capabilities. I would suggest getting one.

Exactly, you should "know"! It should be a night and day difference.

Did Dinan change out the turbo or BMW? Also, was this a warranty claim because I didn't think BMW would change out a turbo on a tuned car? If Dinan replaced it, they should for sure know.

The bmw dealership is my local dinan distributor.

I have an old boost gauge. I'll see if I can find some instructions on where people tap them in and install it temporarily. I know the car doesn't have the same hp as before.. I found myself "pumping" the gas pedal recently. Thanks guys.

you can tee off of the vaccum hoses that go to the top of the diverter valves.

BMW of San Diego is my dealer for the car and Dinan. They didn't charge me a penny. I'm not sure if they billed Dinan but there was no arguments that came my way regarding who's at fault or who's paying for it. I think this is what you're asking. Right? On the other hand, it took there techs 11 days to find the problem and replace the parts. And like I said, it never felt the same. It's definitely faster than stock but not as powerful as before the turbo was replaced.

Go figure.
