We have two dealerships in the UAE. One is AGMC and the other is Abu Dhabi motors.
I tried ordering the 1m from AGMC and they didn't have any allocations left for 2012. They took delivery of 8 2011 1M's. I talked to Abu Dhabi Motors and they placed an order for a 1M back in October. The guy at the dealership said that the allocation for the entire middle east is about 60 cars. I don't know how truthful his information is. I take delivery of my car hopefully next week or the week after. I am getting goose bumps already. |

I will confirm with my dealership... I'm just waiting for my VO to arrive an they told me that 223 were built for Canada. Stay tunned...

Another from Canada
I'm brand new to this forum and I have had a bit of trouble setting myself up to contribute. I have been lurking here since August and I have appreciated the information that this forum offers. My AW 1M is on its way across the Atlantic to Halifax, then it's onto the train to Vancouver then over to Victoria (delivery sometime in February).
My VIN is WBSUR9C528 VT47878 - one of the last coming to Canada. Perhaps this can be added to the registry? |

...and im not trying to make anyone angry by threatening the value of their car...but if they were going to produce it in MY2012, and couldnt...why would they not just make it in the next production slot? I think the 2011's will always remain valuable, as they are the first and the best but just a thought no?

Correct... 220 is what my sales rep told me yesterday as well... It's not 223 for Canada. Thanks man!

You have the actual VINS? If so, then the country needs to be updated in the registry so US people can know their number out of 740.

So this begs the question... If they werent restricted by emissions then what is the reason to designate the vehicle as a 2011? Why was it not a 2012 like the face lifted 1 series and all other models released by virtually every manufacturer around the same time?
