In all seriousness, my local buddy has Supersprint headers paired with his Dinan muffler and stock everything else on his E90. Absurdly loud.

Can't say I'd recommend that combo. Aside from ruining it as a DD and having the neighbors hate you, the cops will be on you all day long. It is track day loud.

Already NOT a fan, I would want something quieter. The PE exhaust sounds awesome in video, I wouldn't want much louder than that.

Just headers is a solid bump in sound levels, but less than the PE imo.

Stock the engine is just silent.

You gotta be a little more specific on what you want. If you want to go with a full system, or just catback; if you want it to be really loud or not as loud, etc. and also what your budget is.

BMW exhaust systems can get really dang expensive.

I paid $50 for mine back in 2009. But that was after I got rearended. Insurance covered the cost of the standard exhuast and I had to make up the price difference. $50 well spent.

Well, don't do you think it's a bit rude that people aspire to own a 135 instead of the car they bought? Not everyone wants a turbocharged car.

I bought the 128i specifically for the NA engine. I sold my 135is. If I were to buy a turbo, it would make more sense to purchase a M2 next season. Thanks for your off topic suggestion. Thoughtless comments like yours make these forums painful.
