Update on BMW 135i brake set

***SOLD***

Hi All,

Just a quick update.

After some thought and feedback, I have decided to post the amount I would be willing to accept to part from this complete brake set which is - $1,100 (plus any freight - pickup preferred) for the lot.

If there is no genuine interest for the full set at this price, I will be braking the kit down and selling each part individually which has been requested by a number of people on the forum.

PM me if interested.

Cheers.

Basically there is:
- front and rear calipers (grey with BMW text)
- front performance rotors
- rear standard rotors
- heat shields with screws etc
- brake pads

I would probably recommend changing the pads and rear rotors. The performance front rotors have only been on for about 6k kms.

Note that at the BMW workshop they literally fitted the new set on mine and placed the used parts straight into the performance boxes so I doubt that they have cleaned them.

I'm based in Sydney and local pick up would be preferred due to weight etc. otherwise I can ship at your cost.

PM me a reasonable offer if interested.

Hi,

Selling brand new BMS DCIs let me know. I've got some that have been shipped over from the states I no longer require. They are still in the box/plastic wrapping.

Looking to pick up what I paid for them.

Paul, what did they cost you? I am sick of cleaning mine and I may look at just replacing them.

Dunno mate, will check and get back to you, given what you've said maybe I should keep the spares if they are that tough to clean?

yeh its not hard just time consuming because there is a few different stages to the clean which require a few hours to dry. I would keep them as spares if I was you because they are cheap anyway.

Getting a feeler - I am probably going to be selling my Eibach springs + Koni FSD setup soon, any interest here? Would be good if a local buyer picks it up since I can leave it at Andrew's and you can get it fitted there . It's a great setup for both driveability and an aggressive stance with 18", but its too low for where I am going with my car at the moment.

Again, this setup ran perfect on my OEM 18" setup with H&R sways.

I already have springs that I am yet to install so I would be interested in the Koni FSDs if you are willing to part with them.

Coolio, well I just placed my order for the coilovers so I'll list it now! It won't be off the car until earliest next week, so please bid accordingly. I won't ask for payment until it's off.

I would definitely prefer a local buyer but will ship at buyers expense.

This kit has done ~5000km only. It will be uninstalled by Andrew@SouthernBM, who did the installation too.

Eibach Springs $220
Koni FSDs $720

Feel free to PM me.

Have listed my 261m wheels on eBay.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....#ht_530wt_1156

Disclosure for forum members: one of the rears did have a small chip but I've had it repaired and I swear that it's absolutely perfect now. I can't even tell where it was repaired.

Take a look. Make an offer.

PS: I'll be adding High Res photos to the listing tomorrow when I can take some pictures in decent light.

I noticed your car pop up on CarSales a couple of days ago. I especially noticed and liked your second last picture and said to myself... Next time I sell a car on CarSales, I'm going to do something similar - mix it up a bit

Oh, and the car looks great - were the photos taken on the Great Ocean Road?

And I don't mean to disappoint but from someone who has been monitoring the second hand 135i market for the past 6 months and who has recently pulled the trigger, I think you are going to have to get a bit more realistic with your asking price - if you actually want to sell it.
