Perf Rear Rotors-little upgrade (UPDATED)

Got my Perf rear rotors from Dan @ united, and it appears FedEx lost my fronts, so While I was waiting for them to be found, I figured I'd do a little preventative maintenance prior to installing them.
Soooo, I masked them off, sanded up the hubs and hit them with some Hi-heat black paint, and cured them in wifeys oven for an hour @ 350deg. (She didn't appreciate the smell. )
Im runnin VMR 710 wheels, and thought since the rotors are so visible through them it may be a good idea to paint the rotor hubs so they dont rust up and look like ass in after a short time.
What do you guys think? Will do the fronts when they arrive. (Was torn between painting them black or Silver)

**UPDATE** -->
The Front Rotors finally showed up. Props to Dan @ United for getting them to me quickly!
Decided the glossy black wouldnt look good on the rotor, so I sanded them up and used a Dupli-color hi-heat LOW GLOSS Black spray paint. Came out perfect, just enough of a matte finish.
Here's some pics-->

Looks great man! Blacks fine - draws you attention to the actual rotors n wheels, instead of the hubs...

Exactly what I'm doing to mine before installing them! looks great! What paint did you use though? I want a matte finish and that looks like gloss

I used Dupli-color Hi-heat engine paint..
it is a Gloss.
Wasnt sure If i should have gone w/ a matte finish or the gloss.
Now that you mention it, it may be a good idea to use a matte finish. Prob easier to keep looking clean.
They do have the same paint in Matte. Maybe I'll pick up a can and re-spray the rears when I do the fronts.

I wouldn't worry too much...the brake dust will change it to matte pretty fast lol

I think I would have gone with a matt silver finish, but they still look good, and will stay that way much longer than they would have otherwise.

Great idea.

is putting them in the oven really necessary? I figured you could just let them sit and dry.

Im sure the oven wasnt necessary, but ive done it before and it seemed to "bake" the finish on pretty good. Im a little OCD like that. Def didnt hurt.
