I just bought my 135 a couple weeks ago. It's riding on Replicas which I thought looked amazing.

Driving home from work Thursday night I hit two back to back potholes and did some serious damage (see attached). My research indicates that reps are pretty weak and I should replace the wheels.

I've searched and can't seem to find the answer...will OEM CSLs fit the 135? The ones I'm looking at are coming off an '07 330. I've found a somewhat local set for sale and would like to know before committing to the 4 hour round trip.

Fronts will fit, rears will not.

Is there anything that can be done to make them fit? Spacers, rolling, etc.?

27 offset is probably too much to fit in the rear with any amount of work. MAYBE if you put 3er rear hubs on, then did an aggressive roll & pull.

Spacers would make it much worse.

Great, thank you ShocknAwe. Do you like your Alufegen wheels? Would you purchase again?

I'm obviously concerned about re-purchasing these replica wheels again.

I'm considering purchasing a set of VMR's.....is this what I have to look forward too? The roads out here in AZ are riddled in potholes?

I love my Alufelgens and I would love to buy a lower offset set of 19's when I do my widebody, unfortunately the company is defunct. They are super hard to come by now.

No matter what wheel you had it would have damaged the wheel anyway, maybe just not as bad if you had an original bmw rim.

Did you take a picture of the pothole ?

In Australia we can claim of the local authority in charge of the roads, maybe you can do the same.

Original BMW wheels are even weaker. If he had those on they would have probably cracked.

Aren't original forged alloy and aftermarket cast ?

Most BMW wheels are cast in the cheapest way possible. Our stock wheels sure were.
