I've used this mob on the odd occasion. No complaints.

Our resident shoe expert has made some generous offers in the past. From what I see on here his standard is pretty much gold class!

Give this guy a call http://www.paintcorrections.com/. He calls himself Dr Buff.

I cant speak from first hand experience as i have not used him yet but i have spoken to a lot of detailers over the phone and he seems the most passionate about his work, and best of all he is a one man band. He does not have any employees as he prefers to do all the work himself. He may not be the cheapest though.

banglemangle, thanks mate.. I was hoping to find someone like fly135 linked. One guy that does the detail work and is really passionate about it!

Other than dr buff who I think specializes in the outside of the car (paint work). Is there any one else?

Depending on where you are in Sydney mate, happy to do a detail for you for the cost of towels (usually around 10-15 bucks) + ~$40 for liquids/wax. Will need to check how stocked I am at the moment, but think I have my full armory of items, just my 2nd and 3rd stage are low.

Drop me a PM if you'd like to catch up and see if we can tee something up. I'm based in Homebush Bay area.

I know most places charge from $250-400 depending on time spent on paint repairing etc.

I'd highly recommend Mike at Car Care Products in Rozelle / Balmain.

They retail & wholesale a huge amount of high end products for automotive detailing.

They also do detailing themselves at the workshop as well as running clinic's to teach people how to do it themselves.

www.carcareproducts.com.au

Mike: 9555 5545 / 0431 55 99 49 or mike@carcareproducts.com.au

Tell him WOPALX said he'd look after you.

Cheers,

S

Taymaishu, that is an incredible offer mate! I would love to take you up on it but I wouldn't feel right about taking up your time to do it. Also I am looking for someone to do a complete detail. This means inside the engine, paint, inside.

WOPALX, I don't see any information on their site about their detailing work.

Mate, more than happy to do it. Take a hell of amount of pride in Christine's car and just the final product of car's i've touched. Love it

Would easily be able to do inside - Christine is up for her cabin to be done soon too. Time to get out the products for inside

If you're keen would be more than happy - gives me something to do on the weekends other than follow the Mrs around looking at shoes

I have a friend who works in the same complex where surfacetech is located.

They do have a lot of good cars there regularly (saw a few Lotus and a Bentley in there recently).

Had them look at a couple of scratches on Christine and asked what it would be to get them buffed out. They said it'd take around 30 minutes and they charge by the hour, and would do her for around 90-100/hr.

Website is more product sales related, you need to call him regarding detailing.
