hey guys there is a black 135i around where i live and i took a test drove.... to say the least i want it.... but i am only 21 and having a modest job i read alot about this car being in the shop.i need it to be reliable for school and work mainly. just wondering is it that bad or are my eyes just drawn to all the negativity? well any way the car has 29k original miles its fully loaded dual clutch. asking price got him down from his 29,900 to 26,700. here is a copy of what has been done in the shop any red flags? i really plan on this being my car for awhile and for awhile i mean 100k plus miles it will be my baby.

Don't let age stop you from buying your dream car. I'm younger than you driving a 135 I paid off for myself. I think any car can last you 100k miles but its all about proper maintenance with that being said I wouldn't recommend anybody to get a vehicle they can't afford to maintain, but I'm sure if its a clean 2011 it has original warranty and you always have the option to extend it or you can part ways once the warranty is up.

If you're not planning on extensively modding, get a certified preowned 2011. They're going for the 27,500 - 30,000 range and include an additional 2 years / 50,000 miles warranty. That was when I bought four months ago, I'm sure dealers are even more inclined to move their stock of CPOs now that the 2 series is out.

so i went and drove the car again today and i noticed some things when i stop at a light or when im coming to a stop the car feels like its missing and starts to shake... when i took it back to the guy and told him he kept saying under warranty and they will fix it... at first he was calling me crazy and telling me i just dont know bmws... i still want it but that turned me off haha.. its cool its under warranty but what about after? any way what could be wrong with the car? i would hope he fixes it before i buy it.

All the more reason to buy certified from a reputable dealership, not a shadeball.

how many miles does your car have?. are they pretty reliable other than general maintenance after the warranty?
