"Limit" sign goes on while the car drifting @ 50MPH

Guys have anyone had on runny day display all the system (DTC, STC) I'm not sure of the name of the system. Anyway and put the tran. (Auto tran.) On first gear and very hard push the pedal until "Limit" sign goes on when you get the third gear and the car still drifting and the speed about 50MPH??
I mean could someone explain to me why the limit sign goes on?

If you have i-drive there's an option to put a "limit" to your speed. for example if you put the limit at 50mph, then everytime you go over 50mph you get this beeping sound once which tells you (i guess so you don't have to look at your speedometer) that you went over whatever limit you set. So if you have i-drive disable it and you won't get it anymore.

you can change the desired speed at where u want the limit advisory to go off, or you can disable it all together. off the top of my head, i don't know where to find this option, but if you have i-drive, use the voice activation command "Limit" and this will bring you to that specific menu.

Drifting in a BMW????

Maybe something with a Mugen badge would be a better choice for that.

Since when did drifting become the exclusive domain of japanese tuner cars?

I was watching Car and Driver Television about one month ago. They were at a BMW sponsored event. BMW had their own test drivers drifting E90s around the track. It looked slic

Drifting is all about balance, control, power, and fun. Why should BMWs be excluded from that?

I understand that question until you get to "runny day"

I'm trying hard not to be a wise ass, but the question is garbled

If, by "runny" you are implying "rainy" you are truly FOB. No offense.
