Hey e36addict, I've taken my car under the knife, on my own. This is currently where I stand:


I've removed most all of the dash components and am nearing removing the dash entirely. The dash is loose, but seems anchored by screws hidden beneath and behind the ashtray area. I haven't removed the center console yet as the trim pieces towards the front of the console have been a pain in the ass prying loose.

Do you have any advice to give at this stage? I've also purchased a new evaporator, but nothing else. Should I have gotten any o-rings or seals?
