nect gen M3 model is a 2014. M cars normally come out 1 year after the underlying model. So... regular chassis models will start production and then the M models..

note that the first sighting of an E92 was in 2006 and first year it came out was as a 2008 model (in 2007 i imagine).. so the first F30/80 M3 sighting is on the same timeline.

Isn't the M3 sedan due for release Summer 2013, then the M4 Coupe due out sometime in 2014.

You're correct, sorry. I was told that the next-gen 3er is due for release next Spring. Indeed not the next-gen M3.

It was an out-of-state purchase in a "country showroom" with no foot traffic since 1978. This fully-loaded 1M sat there for 3 weeks with no takers!

The location of the dealership was quite picturesque with lush forests and classic American homes. Nothing like the typical image of Newark that one may imagine.
