Columbus Owners - I'm about to join you!
Hi All,
Should have mine a week or so. Any experience with the actual pickup from the dealer you can share? Any 'watchouts' for me? Thanks, John |

Which one did you purchase it from?

I bought mine from there as well, great sales people. Check your paint closely to make sure. I didn't, and I wasn't able to confirm if a swirl mark was because of the dealer or not.
congratulations by the way. You will love it.

Not sure, but you can always deny delivery, It is hard to do it when your car is right there that you have been waiting for ) I know it is almost impossible for me. heh

Welcome to the group John. There are several of us here in Columbus that get together from time to time. Regarding your PM question, just click on EVICE's name and it will give you an option to send him a Private Message rather than post out for everyone to read (unless that's what you want). Regarding front plate, my reco is to NOT have Kelley drill holes in your front bumper and then you can decide what you want to do. Some of the guys are running a front plate on the tow hook attachment and others (like myself, don't have it mounted - taking a risk for a fix it ticket). Look forward to meeting you in the future.
Tim

John. I use the tow hook plate holder that I purchased from www.gominigo.com, it is fairly cheap. Unless you do not want asymetric location for your plate, it is a great choice.

First Impression: WOW!!!
WOW, this is an amazing car. This is my first BMW and first sports coupe.
My sportiest vehicle before this was a TL Type S so this 135i is a revelation. I only have 70 miles that I put on tonight and so far everything is AMAZING. The power of the engine and the smoothness of the DCT are excellent. The iDrive and Nav integration is quite good and intuitive for me - at least so far. My initial pics are not that great but I plan on putting some serious miles on it so I am sure to find some better locations and lighting. More info as I drive it but I am beyond excited for this car. Thanks, John |

I played with the paddles a bit but ended up leaving it in Auto and going on - it is that powerful across the range. |
