IF money is not a concern you could always order the instrument cluster from a euro car in KPH. RealOEM doesn't list a price but I bet it would cost around $1,000. But then your gonna have to have a dealer code it for your car.
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...71&hg=62&fg=05 There are some speedo(Germans call it a TACHO! not to be confused with the engine revs counter!) repair shops in Germany. You can search for: Tachometerdienst or Tachoeinstellung or tachoreparatur in Google. I recall there is a guy on the e90 forum who had his speedo recalibrated in 30 kph increments all the way up to 330 kph. He said his new gauge faces cost him like 700 euros! He had to send his instrument cluster to a place in Darmstadt(its near Frankfurt)), Germany. He is from Belgium. His screen name is: Alpina_B3_Lux You can read about his mod story here... http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ahn+oil+cooler Here is the company is Germany that did his mods for the TACHO (nee speedometer!). http://www.wsm.de/produkte/39/3er/70/E9x.html Good Luck, Dackel |
