HPFP replaced even with mods
My 2010 135i just had its first and hopefully last hpfp replaced at a whoppin 7200 miles. Only positive thing I can say is that it got replaced while having dci/berk exhaust/VK kittyless DP, just took out jb3. Even though the dumbass tech dented my fender with a tennis ballsize dent and scratched my bumper i was happy they did not give me any BS about my mods they are going to fix it but its the principal of it.

I've found that most dealerships don't really care about aftermarket intake/exhausts.
Sorry to hear they dented your baby, though. Make sure they properly take care of that for you. |

i had the same. hpfp replaced with catless dp's, intercooler, catch can, and jb3 on map 0. i think dealerships realize how big the hpfp problem is and that it's not caused by any mods

The HPFP is a known issue with or without the mods. They can only legally deny warranty work if they can prove the mod caused the failure.

It was Pace BMW but their service center is in Port Chester exit 22 of 95 N. No connections just kept my mouth shut about mods, was really nice and respectful, and mentioned how HPFP issues are so common with the n54. Then the SA showed me 6 other work order for the same issue. |
