The review was short when you compare that of Vicki's to the RS3 in Monaco.
They could have done more with the car. For the amount of attention this car has received i would have expected more.

Hold on who drives @ 1500 rpm or below in 6ht gear on track to notice lag.

I can just sense the agony of unbearable lag from 1200rpm-1500rpm in 6th gear. Come on man for gods sake pull up your panties and use that stick and extra paddle known as clutch to make a gear change.

Wasn’t this done during the official press release in the UK? AFAIK, Autocar, EVO, etc. all did their first reviews of the car near the same place. Tiff may seem less excited probably only because it was damp, and he couldn’t drive it to where he wants to or take it to a track.

I think we can look forward to another shootout involving the 1M from them later on. They did a 135i vs. Cayman shootout before, so there’s no reason why they won’t do a 1M vs. Cayman S/R shootout.

He didn't mention the M button or MDM in the 1M drive, yet in the M3 video he spends a bit of time o them.

There were 9 press cars driven by various journalists over a couple of days in and around Inverness. Some of the journalists had better weather than others funnily enough. Some with rain, some without! Typical British climate.

Who saw the current season of Fifth Gear with Tif Needle testing the 1M? Watching it now. The segment was filmed in Inverness, Scotland, gorgeous scenery for a very cool little car! UK spec on the car, £40,000, 340 bhp, 0-62mph in 4.9 seconds. Sounds like simlar numbers to the US spec car. Only 450 cars will be produced for the UK.

Anyway, pretty cool episode, and Tif loves the car, so that's great news too!
