PIAA BMW Led Ring Bulb

I was reading an old European Car Mag which included a review about the PIAA's bulb and socket assembly that replaces the stock unit, and found it very interesting and expect them to be a lot better than GP Thunders.
My question is, is there someone of 1addicts members that has installed this kit on his car?
I ask because I have never read anycomments here about them.
Please give me your opinions,

from what i've read on e90post.com, the piaa LED kit yielded very poor day light results, tho there is an improvement during night time. ... too lazy to search for the site, but if you go on www.e90post.com/forums and search piaa led, i'm sure you'll get some feedback.

I've been using PIAA angel eye LED for my E90 for 6 months now.
they are very nice (way better than stock OEM), I didn't notice the day light result problem.
there is something called LUX4 and people said its brighter and better than PIAA.
not sure LUX will produce LED for the 1 series.
