A LSD will tend to run a little hotter becuase of the friction between the plates vs an open diff.
For anyone that tracks their cars...escp after a weekend with a lot of track time...I would at least have your prep shop change the diff fluid...if they crack open the pumkin...and their shop stinks for a week.....you need a cooler  Today we ended up P2 in the last session behind the mini.
