Volume on radio randomly changin

Has anyone ever had an issue where the volume of the radio will randomly change? It doesn't go from low to high but I swear there is a subtle change in the volume....

If this is broadcast radio there a chance what you are hearing is the radio switching back and forth between digital and analog signals, depending on broadcast signal strength.

Not sure this is the case on the 1M, but some manufacturers implement speed sensitive volume adjustment to account for increased engine/road noise.

That is actually what i was thinking this was, but I wasn't sure if the 1m HK has this feature.

I can't check right now but I believe the S volume option controls how aggressive the radio gets louder as you drive faster... I believe it has something like that, iirc.

My 135 HK unit has this feature.

Does it get louder the faster you go?

There is a setting for speed adjustment buried somewhere in the iDrive menus, saw it when I first bought the car and haven't touched it since. I have the HK system.
