Yep, there's a big plastic "splash shield" I think is the term, under the front of the car, and it'll catch stuff coming from above as well such as coolant drips, assuming it's not a major leak.

Look for little white dots anywhere in the engine bay. This blue coolant leaves a white powdery residue behind after it evaporates.
