Pics of my newest mods...Updated...
Vogtland Springs and Koni FSD's....
The car drives like it's on rails and the overall ride quality I think is even better than stock (it was a non-sport suspension). This is the mod to do. Edit: I remove the old pics I took last night..updated pics are further down in the thread. Edit: Here are some of the answers to questions I've gotten. The springs are the 25MM Style 199 - 19" wheels w/ 235/35/19 in front and 265/30/19 in back. If you use the stock shocks the ride will be still be good but not as good as pairing them with the FSD's. These things are incredible. I didn't measure before the drop but there now about a 1/2 finger gap in the front and back. I just measured it and the distance from the ground to the middle of the arch on the wheel well is exactly 25 inches (front and back). Last edited by Carnage; 05-12-2006 at 09:56 PM.. |

Pretty sharp ride! I bet it does handle better, hope the rides not too harsh on long trips.

The OEM spoiler is next on my mods list. I just can't decide if I want the original or the carbon fiber one. Anyone have a suggestion? I've only seen pictures of SG cars with the carbon one. Has anyone since one in person? |

They really look like the rims on E92 335i with sport.

Get the OEM original because from what you're doing it seems like you're trying to get a very sporty but at the same time conservative/safe/clean look (the choice of the 179's). Personally I have a black car and I still don't like the CF Spoiler, just looks odd to me. Go with a smooth clean look = OEM Original Spoiler.
Btw, with regard to the FSD's, they can be used without any problems on the 'i' sports package right? |
