Wanted 2013 135is

To date I have checked out a few different cars but none quite working for me..concerned with cars back east because of the salted roads in some states and the hunt continues.

What have you looked at already? And why didn't they work for you. Don't worry, soon you will join the elite and special group of people known as 135is owners and can then post on that thread. =P Or I say just spring for one of the black 1M's out there right now.

One white and two blue...one blue carfax showed accident..that's out..other two not enough maintenance history..areas they came from salt roads in winter which could be a concern with rust..slowly but surely and the 1m well maybe someday and I still have till the first part of August.

For anyone contemplating this car, be weary. I am back in the market for an E82 and went to check this 135is out this morning, it's about an hour away from me. Ads on autotrader, cars.com, etc all list it as being at a Chrysler Jeep dealer in Johnston, RI. So I call said dealership this morning to confirm its availability and location. The carfax shows it had an "axle noise" a few weeks ago and was brought to a local BMW dealer to service it. I confirmed with the BMW dealership that a rear axle was replaced.

So the terrible customer service that both bfit707 and myself experienced from this dealer along with the need for a new rear axle at 20k miles and the "check engine light or something" line from the salesman today puts a dark cloud over this car for me. Now, I will freely admit that I have yet to see the car in person so it could turn out fine but I wanted to chime in to warn anyone who might be looking this car to check it over very carefully.

@bfit707 I am about to list my 135is for sale. It is Jet Black with Coral Red interior. I have subscribed to meticulous maintenance by dealership. It has a manual. It is in very very good condition. Most of the seats have never even been used. I am sole owner and i have been with it for every mile except the 11 from factory to Spartanburg. The rims have never touched a curb. I have never raced it. It was broken in properly and still sounds better than the M6 it sleeps next to. The options are ample. The only non-stock feature is expensive tint to prevent the interior from sun damage. Let me know if you are still in the market for one.
