The new toy - Updated 02/02/2013

Hey all,

My new toy. 2012 135i in Manual, w/ comfort access, innovations package + professional upgrade.

Installed CF Spoiler, diffuser, mirror caps, aluminium pedals, black kidney grilles and BMS clutch stop last weekend.

Next up is installing my BMS OCC (not sure if worth the benefit) and maybe a Kersher front lip (would like to avoid scrapeage as she's my daily drive!)

Also looking at how to make the circle lights (angel eyes?) look whiter. The're pretty yellow in comparison to the LED strips so would like to fix that. Not sure how to do this yet.

Updated Photos 02/02/2013 =) Hope you all like.
Big thank you thus far to Stuart from BMRAutowerkes and Andrew from SoutherBM Both of you will see me again very soon! -Pete

BMS Clutch Stop - 2 spacers used.

Mandatory glass window shot.

Black kidney grilles + CF mirror caps. LED DRL angle eyes also installed.

BMW Performance exhaust + Hong Kong delivered (<$300 landed) CF rear diffuser - excellent fitment.

BMW Performance carbon fiber spoiler.

BMW performance aluminium pedals.

Congrats, I was also thinking the same in regards to the BMS OCC, I assume it's for the N55 engine, will it void warranty?

If they try and void warranty on an OCC I'd rip them a new one!!!

Unless you're planning on doing a heap of track days I really doubt you'd need an OCC.

Plenty of other mods I'd spend my money on before that.

I'm new to BMW, modded VAG cars to buggery with very little warranty issues, I just don't want my new engine clogged with black carbon crap.

Ok, but some photo's I've seen they 'claim" its due to normal driving, have been full of black carbon.

Regardless of track days or not, an OCC is very beneficial for ANY N54 engine, slightly less so for an N55 but $249 for peace of mind on a brand new car?

Agree 100%.. Replaced my Intercooler at 7K Kms, after ONLY one track day and normal driving, and the intercooler was lined with engine oil, to the point it was dripping out.

Haha yeah I'm leaning towards installing the puppy. I've done 200 kilometers on the car so far, doubt it's caked in carbon yet :P Still trying to break in the brakes and clutch!

I'll post up more photos next weekend. I plan on taking it to SouthernBM for an exhaust upgrade, it sounds too stock for me :P

The 135iS comes with PPK and the 313 wheels, but that car is not available in Australia currently (though it may be at some point in the future prior to it being discontinued)

Its called the M Sport + here in OZ, (Black edition) I opted against it due to the blue stitching & wheels. Although it doesn't come with ans extra 15KW/50n like the IS. I opted for BMW Performance, yes I was ripped off for an extra 15KW...

The M Sport + is just the blue stitching + slightly grey-ed out 269 wheels (all 135's come standard with the M Sport pack). The PPK for the N55 is just a chip upgrade, the old N54's included an intercooler upgrade (for stage 2) which is no longer available / required.

How much was the PPK tune? I'm looking at a procede or a dinan down the track myself.

Give the PPK a wide berth. Procede, JB4 or Cobb (when its released for the N55) are your best options.

I purchased the BMW Performance Pack for a staggering $2000 for only 15KW/50n...will consider other options after my warranty ends.

Regarding the 135is, are you just speculating it may come here or did the dealer say that?
