New guy here, just picked up a 135!
Hi everyone. Recently turned in my 135 lease and was planning to get a M235 but couldn't pull the trigger. I liked the 1 better so I picked up this 2012 135i with only 17k miles. It has every option as well as some performance goodies like PE, PPK and performance diffuser. Having some fun playing with the DCT. My previous 135 had MT. Look forward to learning from my fellow 1addicts and maybe doing a little modding.

Maybe he'll be one of the lucky ones (like me) who doesn't have the issues with the DCT. Hopefully that'll be the case.
OP, FYI: throttle lag, idle fluctuation and lurching forward issues with the DCT. Search for info about this. There are a few threads. Here's one ---->>>> http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1033690

I have had my 2011 E88 135i with a DCT for 14 months and ~8,000 miles with none of the issues from the transmission.
I have learned that you can't jump off the brake and immediately get on the gas though. You have to give it a second for the software to know you are wanting to go. It is a wickedly fast shift though when in sport mode. |

Sweet, welcome to the DCT club! And yes, ppk totally helps eliminating the dreaded lag and the PE is excellent as well!

Nice. I was up in the air with MT or DCT. I've only owned MT cars so the DCT is a bit of change. I'm enjoying it so far. When I feel the need for MT… I drive this.

Been driving my 2011 DCT for a little under a year now. Really dig the smooooooth shifting.

Sometimes I miss my E36 (especially when I work on my 135). Those are really sharp wheels. Do you garage that thing in the winter?
