really depends if the CA is on top of things, it could be siting on the lot waiting for him to call you or hes being super safe in case some delays happen between now and then. the waiting period is supposed to be 7-10 days from port to dealership normally. which dealer did you go to?

Your new car arrived at the port yesterday. It should be transferred to VPC (final processing center) before it’s delivered to us in a couple of days. I don’t doubt to see it arriving early next week. I’ll contact you as soon as it’s ready for pick up.

South bay BMW, Does it make a difference if it was European Delivery? My car sat in Germany for over a month before it actually left. I was told this was due to the holidays. I contacted CBP I was told the car should be out of their custody no later than Tuesday. I contacted my CA letting him know I have no problem with picking up the car @ the VPC, he told me it was virtually impossible.

You can pick up at the VPC... not sure why your CA said you can't. It also cancels out the 825$ destination charge too. Maybe you told him too late?

I was told it has never been done @ the VPC. All the documents have been signed. All I want to do is get my car sooner, but of course not getting any assistance from my CA.

for those of you who want to know. the BMW tracking website is late 5 days... Well at least for me it was. The car was docked 18th, and today the site was updated.

I gave up on the website long ago - it was always updated later than the 800 number.

It makes a big difference if it was ED.

Ordered cars clear customs pretty much immediately because they have only been in BMW and the shipping company's hands.

It's possible to take a week to clear customs.

Then the VPC can take a week.

Last year my car was unloaded on April 7 and I got it on the 29th.

I just received my car tonight. By 9:30pm it was in my garage.

When I emailed my CA today at about 10:30 in the morning he said the car had just arrived there.
