Such a shame it moves away from the black tips, all my friends comment on how much sense it makes to have exhaust tips BLACK!

Do you have DP's already though?

I do have DPs, and they already increased the volume quite noticeably. The high pitched turbo spool which was completely non-existent before is now an excellent accompaniment to the exhaust.

I just had the tips on my Performance Exhauast power coated black.

I read that DIY at the time when I was looking to purchase the Perf Exhaust.
But, in the end I found it to be much easier getting the tips powder coated.

Each to their own... I had the powder coating done at a place which is 15min from where I work.

I just sanded back the chrome so that the surface was rough, dropped it off to the place for powder coating and picked it up 2 days later. After that I just took it to Andrew@SouthernBM for install. It was a pretty painless process.
