I fell for the noise she makes on full load.
Just got hit with a big pay cheque. Probably going to wake up next morning with many parts inbound.

So who's actually ordering one, and what are they ordering? Such a shame it moves away from the black tips, all my friends comment on how much sense it makes to have exhaust tips BLACK!

I do have DPs, and they already increased the volume quite noticeably. The high pitched turbo spool which was completely non-existent before is now an excellent accompaniment to the exhaust.

But, in the end I found it to be much easier getting the tips powder coated. Here's a few pics (Apologies, the car is little dirty): |

I just sanded back the chrome so that the surface was rough, dropped it off to the place for powder coating and picked it up 2 days later. After that I just took it to Andrew@SouthernBM for install. It was a pretty painless process. |

Just noticed that there is a used Eisenmann Performance Exhaust on eBay for $1200 if anyone is interested. Seems like a pretty decent price.

That's where I thought it was going too.
I'm willing to have my car switched with someone's SGM 135i coupe to see their reaction on the road since it looks completely stock.

I've got golf tee, adds a small amount of noise but it's nothing much.
