Cf mirror cover

Let me know if you see a pair.
I have never seen a pair at that price for a 2011,135.

i think your best bet would be a CF wrap, cheapest route to go and it still looks solid. I have it done on mine and it looks great! I also have my roof done.

I am having a clear issue on my driver mirror so I just bought a set off of Amazon (using amex points) and will post pix once installed.

http://www.amazon.com/Carbon-Mirror-...+carbon+mirror

These are the covers and not the full caps so hopefully there is not a noticeable gap. If they look "off" I will just re-spray the mirror caps and call it a day.

cf mirror cap, from ebay

They arrive today from HK.
They look very good.
BUT, be ready to use a dremel to make them fit properly.
Even after 1/2 hour removing a bit of material at a time.
They still don't fit properly.
At the end of the day it's $160.00 in the drain.

I do not at the end of the day ever see these caps been install on my car.
too bad they did not take the time to fix the mould.

Are you sure that these covers will fit on a 2011.
from 2009 or 2010 the shape was change to the dumbo size.
i dont know why on ebay they list from 2008 to 2011.
Because the the model are different after 2010.

cf mirror cap, replacement

they send me another set for free of charge.
a bit better, but still some isssue.

pic352mod is where i had to remove material again.

pic354mod. The cf cap is not covering the surface properly. it's short by 2mm or .080 inches all around.
i had to put some black tape on the white section before installing the caps.

pic357mod. you can see where the gap is. you can see where i had to put some black tape over the white plastic section.

As soon as I can have something that fit better, i will replace them.

I would give that fitment an 8/10 from a 3rd party perspective. Even my iCarbon ones have a tad bit of white showing as seen in your 1st picture.

The black tape is a great addition though

If it's at all possible, save up and buy the BMW OEM CF replacements. No fitment issues and the quality is outstanding.
