Best car I've owned 1er
I gotta say, I've only had the car for a month but it's really the best car I've ever had. The low end grunt and handling... and I actually like my DCT.
It's comfortable, luxury, and just a beautiful fantastic car!!

I agree. I've just received my 135i sport today and when I sat inside I was blown away. It is such an improvement over my 2004 325ci, which I already thought to be great. I've always heard that BMW started using cheaper materials for the interior components on the newer cars but this car shuts that myth down. Everything is so solid and top notch, the car overall looks 100 times better in person than in any picture. My black lines are coming in Monday, and I'm ordering the 1M style bumper tomorrow! Can't wait. Next come some lux v5 angle eyes.

I've had my car for seven years now and still love every single moment of driving it. The driver focused tight but comfortable interior is one of my favourite parts, save for a few awkward areas like the too close positioning of the window buttons. I also got the passenger dash "bubble" early on but it doesn't bother me the slightest. Chose not to have it fixed under warranty because I didn't want to risk them introducing other worse problems like creaks or rattles. Love this car and don't see why anyone would want to complain about the interior, the overall dimensions, aesthetics and ergonomics are just win.

The 135 is the best car I have owned or driven (affordably). It has plenty of creature conforts and practicality in a very small package. The levels and balance of power, handling and braking are not easily found in this size or price range. You can drive it easily like Grandma without bogging it down, or rewardingly if driven with gusto or bravado. (I envy the 1M owners) Enjoy your rides. t

What is the passenger dash bubble? Is it something that happens as a result of the heat? I live in Florida.. I am planning on buying the BMW 1er front windshield sun reflector as well as something for the back.

I drove a e30 vert in the summer of 95' and always wanted one and the 1'r is that want fulfilled. I want the 1'r to be my fav of all time I really do, if the throttle response was better and idle issue wasn't so elusive it might have the title of best. I still have a favorite car I gave my brother over 12yrs ago he totaled about 6yrs ago, 1992 Acura Vigor. Inline5 positioned for RWD on FWD chassis with enough torque for all and drove like it was asking to be driven 24/7 to eternity. However my e88 has a fun factor of Spinal Tap 11 compared to the Vigor's fun factor of near zero. I've embodied the Vigor as the measure of all cars to date.

I agree. I feel the 1er, especially my 128i, can champion any paved road!
I wonder if anyone will rally these cars once they get old enough! (Am I the first to mention a ralliart 1 series?!!)
