Looking for quality rear SS lines (set of 4)
All,
As I await my suspension goodies (B12 kit, a bunch of new rubber components, whiteline 2 piece RSFB, dinan camber plates and RSMs), I started thinking maybe I should just do the rear brake lines as the subframe will be loosened/lowered for the RSFBs. - I already have upgraded the fronts as I got Goodridge SS lines with the 135i calipers I purchased last summer - Most vendors seem to only stock the full "kit", only place that sells the rears (set of 4) is HP Autowerks, they are selling the stoptech ones - I'd like to ideally get techna-fit or the Goodrige lines that have built in keying and large hexes - I'm referring to 2 excellent posts below: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1090379 http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1093684 Any vendors someone can recommend that would sell just the rears? Lastly - if the rear subframe is only partially lowered to install the Whiteline 2-piece kit, is that enough to "get at" the rear lines to swap them out? Specifically the tough to reach "inner" ones? I was going to say Techna-Fit but you already mentioned that. Unfortunately they only come as a full set of 6. Price isn't too bad so maybe just pull the trigger and swap out the old ones later on?

Thanks - yea I may just buy the whole set from techna fit...
Anyone care to comment on the install part of the post regarding the "hard to reach" inner lines? |

One more question - the techna fit site only states they have a kit for a 135i/335i (BMW-1850). Anyone used this on a 128i without issue?
I've dropped them an email with that question, just curious of anyone else's experience. |

UPDATE: Seems the 128i kit was missing from the Techna Fit site, spoke to Chris over there and he's adding the kit for the 128i (BMW-1852). They are also willing to just sell the rear lines, so everything worked out well.
Good bunch of guys there... |
