Mine is not the only one out there that is inexpensive as compared to the one you're referring too with the bushings (which I think is in the order of like $750). I'm not sure about the design concept behind that one but, there are others similar to mine in design but cost a bit more that do the same job compared to mine. So, short answer.. Mine and one's like mine have been out there for some time and no damage has been reported that I'm aware of. I have one of my designs on my 135 and beat the hell out of it and its been great.

Not more that I can say other then the choice is yours.

Props to 135droptop for taking the time to come up with this simple yet apperantly effective design. Even more amazining that he is willing to sell the brackets for what has to be close to break even from a time and materials perspective.

Just picked the bracket today from Canada Post.
All went well with customs, and no "surprise" fees at my door.
Thanks for the great service, and turn around time!

Will install tomorrow am and report back.

Dumb question - I assume there are holes in the subframe which aligh with the bracket nut plate, correct?

Just installed the bracket today, and did my yearly diff fluid replacement at the same. Fitment was perfect.

One thing I noticed at highway cruising speeds is noise, similar to a drone sound from an exhaust. I also get this noise when lifting off the throttle at same highway speed. I was wondering if other have experienced this. Perhaps inserting a thin piece of rubber or cork material between the bracket and the subframe would isolate this noise.

The bracket does seem to remove the last bit of sway from hard acceleration, which the M3 subframe bushings had not completely eliminated.

More testing needed. Im on winter tires until March 15, as dictated by Quebec provincial vehicle regulation. More meaningful feedback to be provided as soon as Im on grippier/wider/stiffer summer tires.

The added noise is normal as the diff is solid mounted to the frame now. Adding rubber between the frame and the bracket should take out some of it. I have Berk exhaust so my car a louder then stock and I did not notice anything.

I got this same noise when I installed the M3 subframe bushings. It goes away once the diff warms up and/or once it gets warmer out. Some diff fluids are noisier than others too.

I'm going to order one of these as soon as my M-Factory diff comes in - can't wait!

Thanks for your feedback. I did put fresh thick 75W140 diff fluid in the pumpkin as I hit the track often from late April to late October. The fluid I sucked out was the same weight but had on full year of track and street use. It probably was thinner due to several heat cycles and wear.

I added a thin layer of rubber to mine and it helped. Cost $1
