Im game! Dan emailed me and told me he did not have the paint in stock at the moment though. Ive seen Mikes hood where I remember him telling me he did some work and it looked pretty damn good.

Hey - I have a couple rock chips that I've been ignoring too! If there's all this expertise and help, I'll give it a go.

hey Andy, sorry to hear about the bump
if you have problems finding paint in stock at dealerships try bavauto.com .. I called them up a few months ago and they shipped over the paint right over. Price was ok too, from what I remember.

Great! We need Mike (ML), at a minimum. The garage is big enough for a couple cars, so it is even doable if raining. I'd prefer dry weather, so we can do some other touch-up, maybe do Brian's sway, and hang out back and have some bbq.

I will likely be unavailable. My house is supposed to be getting a new roof over the weekend, unless it rains. Also, I have a meeting in Foxboro on Wednesday and may be flying out of Providence to Baltimore Wednesday evening. If that happens, then I'll be driving home from providence very late Friday evening. I'll know better tomorrow.

Sounds good Mike! Just let us know. If for some reason the roofing doesn't happen, it's sunny, you can come, and the stars align, I have a decent sized driveway and lots of cleaning gear, including a new vac that is pretty kick ass, for those who might want to tidy up.

I can possibly free up a day next weekend too, but I think I might be having a surprise B-day party.

It's Monday and the Baltimore trip Wednesday evening is still a maybe. Things have aligned poorly this week. I may end up renting a car so I can drop it in Providence after the Foxboro meeting and fly back into Hartford Friday night. That would at least save a 2 hr drive at 10 PM from Providence to Westfield. Sunday may be doable regardless of the trip and roof. Let me see how things play out with travel.

The Baltimore trip is confirmed. I am driving to Foxboro tomorrow morning, flying out of Providence tomorrow night, returning to Providence Friday night and then driving back to Westfield around 11:00 PM. My roofer also confirmed Saturday this morning. After getting home around 1:00 AM, hammers are NOT going to sound very welcome at 7:00 AM Saturday morning.

Sunday is still a maybe.

Sweet! but sounds like you've got a buuuusy week. It's probably better to plan as if you're there, and hopefully you can be here. Who else wants in for some detailing/bbq/rock band/hanging/tech day on Sunday down at my hacienda?

Hint: order up those end-links Brian!!!

Mike, if there's some other stuff we need to get, let us know. I assume some very high grit sandpaper, a dent puller, a few gallons of bondo, and one of those cakes with a dancing girl.

Ive got the needed sandpaper (1000, 1500 and 2000 grit) as well as a few different rubbing compounds, swirl remover and polishing compound. I think we can skip the dent puller and bondo. That's what a body shop is for. So all you really need to focus on is getting the cake and dancing girl.
