The results from using MS109 were not very consistant. Whilst hitting over 115mph was nice, there was nothing special about the runs. Fastest I had run previously was 114.3pmh with just 98, but car doesnt seem to perform like it used to.

Meth is certainly on the shopping list.

Sorry I missed the last run - I might come out again next week or the week after to try and get a better 60 foot - got some tweaks from Terry cause my logs were not that great.

This is addictive...

We made the mistake of staying for one last run after the burnouts. Such a boring activity. It was certainly a lot cooler after 9:30pm.

I might go out again on wednesday to use up the rest of the ms109, if I can get leave.

U need a mullet, a neck tattoo and some missing teeth to enjoy the burnouts...

I so felt the love from the other competitors before you arrived...

You'll be very happy with 98RON and methanol injection.

Once they stop the lanes and announce burnout comp just head home. Private days are way better than Wed night street meet.

Nice. I might have to get out there again and have a crack, it's been well over a year.

These are the 3 runs I have had that are the best 60', best ET and best MPH. For some frustrating reason, I can never get them to gel on a single run.

Great launch (for me) but the car then shat itself (traction was off) so cost me a decent et,

Pre-LSD and just 98RON but on 17" wheels. I think this is an acceptable time for a non-meth n54. This was the MPH I used to get a few months ago quite easily on just 98ron, now sits at only 111mph with similar launches?

Crap launch but at least the trap speed was up there again (last wed night - MS109)

The density altitude is a lot higher now with increased air temperature and humidity, hence traps down.

I wouldn't worry about mph and ET lining up too much. Just make sure your car is running at its peak and focus on your launch and shifts.

I've been to the drags in my 135i a total of 4 times probably spaced out over a year. You can look up the times on drag times.

First time - 12.999
Second time - 12.7**
Third time - 12.2**
Fourth time - 12.173@113mph

The fourth time I went out was the first time I've dragged on 19 inch wheels and it was a waste of time as I spun all the way through 1st. Should have gone back the next week for a proper run.

Each time I got better but I noticed my traps would vary a lot. On some runs my traps were as high as 117.8mph but the higher traps were associated with my slower ET's. The best runs like my 12.173 had a low trap speed of 113mph, which is very ordinary.

Your trap speeds look really good so you definitely have enough power to get a really low ET, just get the launch downpat and try be consistent. Easier said than done though I know.

When I'm there I forget about ET's after a few runs and just want to surprise/smash some other cars I line up. More often than not, I'm usually the one getting surprised though But on some of these runs I happen to put down a really good ET so it's still a personal win.

Went out tonight, pretty average. Best of 12.5@111 but was switching maps and settings around (just to see what would happen) so maybe I didnt give them long enough to adapt, or it was too hot, or my car is shit, or I am shit - who knows?

Either way, I have decided that I am not going back until I have a good meth system set up, besides I have to start moving house in a few weeks.

The only decent match up after 6 runs was with a modified evo. I had just run a 12.8, 12.6 and a 12.5 but mph was only at 111mph so I switched maps and sure enough, car got the shits and ran a 13.3 to the evo's 12.5. The bloke was high five-ing his mates and had about 3 go-pros on his car to record his "achievement". Never again, thats all I can say.

You're learning how to drag race, that's all part of it. You never tweak anything if you're about to race someone. Why would you change maps anyway?

You need methanol injection and fast!

I can see you ditching the 135 and picking up something quicker before too long.

Ditch the 135i and get a GTR with a few tasteful mods and so be it.

I switched maps because I was using up the last of the ms109, so after a few runs to make sure it was flowing I went for a more aggressive stg 3 map. Was a mistake, yes I admit that.

There really isnt anything I could be bothered upgrading to. I think there is still plenty of value left in these cars.
