Brisbane/Gold Coast Drive

I'm confused now. Wasn't the Lakeside breakfast on the 17th January? I couldn't make it on that day, but could have if it was only last Sunday, on the 24th.

Didn't realise Lakeside is that tight compare to QR.

It was on the 17th. I'm not sure why chappy put his comment & pics here. Was there was another Lakeside Day I didn't know about?

All tracks are tight compared to QR! Lakeside isn't as tight as it looks and has a pretty high average speed. Not as much run off area as QR either. In our area, Morgan Park (Warwick), is the tightest track I know of.

Lakeside has plenty of room to move if you stay on the black stuff. But as Tim mentioned, very little run off, and nothing but grass and a big cement wall if you come unstuck at The Kink at 180km/h+.

I guess I only have experience with the BMW Drive day at QR -

I would be good to come next time. A bit busy in the last couple of months. I would hate to even get off the black stuff.
