thanks for so many comments so far. I was thinking of you guys the entire time, and I wanted to make a photo trip so that you might all see what a 135i vacation might look like!
I am going to continue with pictures... unfortunately mostly of activities with the car! So we finished our tour of the Zentrum Museum and headed back to the Performance Center for a buffet lunch. It was deli sandwiches and pasta salad, so my girlfriend starved. But screw her, because you get to sit down and eat with the Performance School Instructors. I picked their brain and fiddled with what was on my plate. I had too much adrenaline pumping to injest anything. Then Donnie gets up and says "Who would like to go for a hot lap? They basically strap you in an M5 and have their way with you. We got Jim Clark, the head of the school. He did not disappoint. I have never, in any activity, heard my girlfriend scream like that. Nice job Jim!:eyebulge: Then it was time for the "Other Roads" course. My girlfriend was really pumped now, and she wanted to be behind a wheel. She drives a Nissan Crossover SUV. I figured I would let her have this one because not much was going to be applicable to my 1er. She was a little tentative on the throttle with the track cars, but she had no problem being on less than 4 wheels... Donnie gave us an X5 4.8, which I am more than familiar with. We took it over the river, through the woods and off the mountains. It was about 45 minutes of being proud of my girlfriend tackling obstacles. It was really cool to see. All the skills she learned, there was not one she could use in Jersey Once Donnie was finished with the off road portion, we got in our cars and drove over to the Spartenburg Plant. I was not allowed to take pictures or video tape anything, but it was quite interesting. The plant is going through a major renovation, and you can see money invested everywhere. There were plasma screens keeping employees up to date with what was going on with GM, Ford, and MB. There were robots that did work to have other robots check on the work done by the first robot! It was really nice to put a name to a face if you will. Seeing what goes into making a BMW makes you appreciate it that much more. And that was our PCD experiance! I have made a little Youtube Video so that those of you that are thinking about going can decide if it's worth it. Excuse our corniness and profanity. or if you prefer a link: Oh, and Upgrade+, my girl is Russian. Speaking of which, it is time for the next part of our trip... our invasion of Georgia (and Florida). See you next time!

Great story you have going so far, you have to post pics from the Florida portion. Love the color combo in the car too, its always nice to see someone add another non-AW/Coral to the outside world...
