My brain tells me a DCT M3/Supercharged/Akra is the best sounding/looking/performing.
Going by your signature, If you didn't have a N54/N55 vehicle already, I'd go the 1M for sure. Go M3 for something different. |

Option 1 - I think Peter would look good in a low km Radical SR3...Peter?? (not suitable for the hair though)
Option 2 - Wait for the new tripple turbo M3 (fast & comfortable for old race dogs) Option 3 - A deposit on the R35 GTR Put the money in the bank!!

I assume this is a joke? Show me where you can buy a 1M for $70k?

Pete, easy call. There's plenty of e92m3 around if you need one later. In the interim, a low km 1M for a bit more than $85k. You should speak with John/Alpine. You have liked the 1M for a while now?

Me too.
I think that could be my next car. I'd like the new IS-F to be N/A but I suspect it won't be. It will probably be turbo v6. But then again it will have to have more than the current cars ~310kw or so to be competitive. Could be interesting. B |

I'm free later this arvo, feel free to swing by so I can TURKY SLAP SOME SENSE INTO YOU. for gods sake man they are U.G.L.Y. and thats not to mention the interior is lifted from a corolla, at least BMW had the decency to give the 1m an interior upgrade for the 50k premium over a 135.

If I owned a tuning shop with extensive tools, chassis dyno, and was looking at track day events, then 1M seems a more interesting option.
As a road car, the M3 still wins I guess if you can tolerate our low-ish speed limits and the boys in blue. Then again, I hear the Audi RS5 is a good car. |

I've steered the E92 M3 at ECR and found the lack of low end torque and really long diff ratio a let down. It'd be great with a set of 4.10 gears in the diff but I think you'd miss the torque. So it'd probably need a S/C on it? The 1M you'd get most of the torque right out of the box with the twin huffers. Mod wise there is probably a bigger market for N54/55 cars than M3s but I'm not close enough to it to give an honest assessment. Out of left field though plenty of people will be looking to tweak A45s but it's probably too early to know what the limitations of those are. |

Pete, E6X M5/M6 and spend the spare $20k on a mods and a 6MT conversion.
