Why don't you go back to the dealer and tell them your car is a lemon since it doesn't repeal the law of physics... Hopefully they'll give you a refund!

Here's another one...
If you drive at the speed of light, will your headlights work?

And the whole point of this thread is that it is a sad sad world when BMW has to disclose the fact that DSC cannot repeal the laws of physics. |

Let me explain. For example, lets assume that the speed of light 1 MPH. Which means that in an hour the light would reach a mile (forget the fact that the source needs to be powerful for a second here). Given the fact that you are travelling at the speed of light, you would get there the same time light should have, which means that your headlights will not work. This would happen from the point you hit the speed of light and onwards, while you acclerate to the speed of light, your lights will work. Everything sounds ok here, except when I think about it, if someone reaches the speed of light, should they not become invisible... hmmm lemme think over this again. |

Your headlights would work for you, but for someone who is standing head on, it would not work. |

wow... I was being sarcastic?
but I do wonder thought, does being faster than the speed of light = time travel? this I'm not being sarcastic Quote:

Time is measured in the distance it takes light to reach physical matter. Our perception of time is directly related to the speed of light. Therefore, if we were to accelerate past the speed of light, and even if the headlights were on, they (the event of the headlights being on) wouldn't have happened yet, in our sense of perception, relative to time... just kidding actually I have no idea what I'm talking about! I hated physics! |
