I wish the car would have been freshly washed for that shot .

The 128i steals the show.

Does someone need to explain what "BEST 1 Series Pic" means? EvilDiesel gets it, but some other folks seem to confuse "best" with "every pic I took with my phone".

It called HDR photography, the software is photomatix. It takes 3 (or more) similar photos that are +2 EV, -2 EV and properly exposed and fuses them so you get detail light and dark scenes. You can download it for free, though there is watermark on the free software. Google HDR photography to get an idea.

I am familiar with HDR photography, I learned how to take photos with a flim camera tho, and im not used to post processing on a computer, so I was wondering which software you were using. That picture almost looks like a water color to me, which is why I asked.

@RobMason:

Those pics look over-saturated with post-processing. Is it an artistic style of HDR?

Thats my point. HDR photography has been around since long before digital, ive done it with film. I was curious as to how he made his photos look like that, and he assumed that I knew nothing of photography

A lot of HDR stuff looks over processed, which is the effect that one is trying to achieve in many instances. You assume I assume you knew nothing of photography, but your answer leaves me to assume that your knowledge of digital photographay is less than mine, (which is pretty small). Only an assumption. Your answer of what type of effects was I using, sounded as if you were unfamiliar with photomatix, which is what a lot of HDR post processors are using. I also learned film photography. Digital is quite different in some ways, as I am discovering.

If you google HDR photography, you'll see some of what it is about. (digital not film) The software is photomatix,

this is also a good site, as this photographer makes some incredible stuff.

So sick. I've got the same wheels on my 135. Best wheels for this car in my opinion.

Also in addition to what Rob just said using PS or another post-processing software along with Photomatix to create the best effects. The guys who are really good at using it can get rid of the halos around things like the buildings and the car.
